Grand Palace & The Emerald Buddha
If there is one must-see sight that no visit to Bangkok would be complete without, it's the dazzling, spectacular Grand Palace, undoubtedly the city's most famous landmark. Located in the same compound in the very heart of Bangkok, are most frequently visited by foreign tourists and local people alike. Built in 1782 - and for 150 years the home of the Thai King, the Royal court and the administrative seat of government - the Grand Palace of Bangkok is a grand old indeed, that continues to have visitors in awe with its beautiful architecture and intricate detail, all of which is a proud salute to the creativity and craftsmanship of Thai people. Within its walls were also the Thai war ministry, state departments, and even the mint. Today, the complex remains the spiritual heart of the Thai Kingdom.
It houses "Phra Kaeo Morakot", the most highly revered Buddha image carved from a single block of fine jade. It is so richly and intricately decorated that once entering the temple, visitors will feel as if they were in a real "City of Angels".

|9.00AM||Arrive at the Grand Palace. Visit the Grand Palace, once a royal residence and Wat Phrakaew, one of Asia’s most beautiful architecture, which houses the Emerald Buddha most precious Buddha image of Thailand.|
